dublin boy Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Wheels and tyres from the 5 window kit, parts box supercharger. First thing I've finished for ages, the whitewall decals are far from perfect, even with a ton of Microsol and a hairdryer. All comments welcome.
Intmd8r Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Cool build-don't see many in white. This is one of my favourite kits and I learned early on to not use the white wall decals. Had great results painting them with white directly on the tire. The supercharger is just what that small block Ford needs!
wayne swayze Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Looks real nice in white! What brand did you use?
dublin boy Posted June 29, 2016 Author Posted June 29, 2016 Thanks guys.Wayne, it's Ford Diamond white rattlecan.
afx Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Just the way I like'm old school/traditional. Nice Shay.
GeeBee Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Very nice build Shay, about time you finished it, what happened to the wheelie bin ??
TooOld Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Don't ever see a white Deuce . . . I like it ! And those ww decals are a real nightmare , you did good .
David G. Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Good color choice- looks clean and classy in white.David G.
Harry P. Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 I think you need to add a front spreader bar, and some coolant hoses.
dublin boy Posted June 30, 2016 Author Posted June 30, 2016 Thanks guys.Fair points Harry, just when you think it's finished...LOL
Rider Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 I might have to pick up one of these kits. Good stuff Shay!
dublin boy Posted June 30, 2016 Author Posted June 30, 2016 Thanks Lloyd, I did have some inspiration though. Had to add the blower, I couldn't help it..
