Kit Basher Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Not my best work, but it'll have to do. AMT kit, Testors square bottle "Tangerine". Yes, I know it's a Dodge stripe on a Plymouth. I like it, so sue me! Thanks for looking.
Janne Herajärvi Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Nice color choice... In fact i like it even better with that Plymouth stripe and without that odd looking black area in hood.. It looks very nice now..
Kit Basher Posted July 31, 2016 Author Posted July 31, 2016 Thanks, Ray!Thanks, Janne! Thanks, Bruce. A black wash would probably help those wheels. They were parts box wheels, and the chrome was kinda funky, so I gave them a mist of Alclad. I'm a little leery of putting anything over Alclad. Thanks, Steve! Thanks, Eric!
FordRodnKustom Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Looks good. Somehow the Bumble Bee stripe works but then I'm not a purist. BTW I've washed Alclad before with no issues.
bogger44 Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 I like the stripe, it's good to be different sometimes. Nice work.
Kit Basher Posted July 31, 2016 Author Posted July 31, 2016 Thanks, Ron!Thanks, Eric!Thanks, Tony!Thanks, Cliff!Thanks, Mike!
Harry P. Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I like it! Not a huge fan of those wheels... Mopar Rallys would have been my choice, but overall, a nice looking model.
Kit Basher Posted August 1, 2016 Author Posted August 1, 2016 Thanks, Anthony! Thanks, Carl! Thanks, Harry!
Kit Basher Posted August 1, 2016 Author Posted August 1, 2016 (edited) Good looking RR. Is this the new tool? Thanks, Tommy! I don't know the age of the tool. It's the most recent release, and it's a pretty detailed kit. Multi-piece chassis, separate interior panels, etc. The plastic is yellow. Thanks, Robert! Edited August 1, 2016 by Kit Basher
crazyjim Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Looking very nice in SHINY . I just put color on my '68 yesterday.
Hubert Rollins Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Very sharp model. Love the color- I have a bottle of this and use it for turn signal lights. Looks really good as a body color!!
Kit Basher Posted August 1, 2016 Author Posted August 1, 2016 Thanks Jim, can't wait to see your '68!Thanks, Derick!
