Hello All

This is my first contribution to this forum.

I finished my first ever build, the Revell Shelby GT350H.

I would like to hear your opinion on my build. Also, I will post more pictures later once I take them with better camera in my photobox.

The build is not perfect and I made a lot of mistakes along the line, but still I am quite happy considering it is my first one :)

Thanks!

I think you did an excellent job. My advice to you is to keep this model, always. Don't get rid of it or rebuild it. It is the measuring stick all further work is compared to. Display it proudly. I still have my first model that I built after I realized that modeling was a serious adult hobby, and not just kid stuff. It is terrible, but I love it. It's one of my favorite models. Welcome to the forum.

thanks guys - I really appreciate your feedback..I am currently working on another Mustang, 1999 SVT Cobra this time...I bought quality paints (zero paints and alclads, I mean working with these is a pleasure) this time and so far it is coming along great...I will post it once I am finished :)

Well for your first time at this, that is beautiful! Mine came nowhere near this good on my first model. Glue everywhere, misplaced/missing parts, etc.

Yeah, DEFINITELY keep this one! It's always nice to look back to see how far you've come. ;)

Looks better than most models I built after 20 years of modeling.  The only thing I noticed that kit should not have the Mustang lettering on the fenders on a Shelby.  My guess is the kit instructions do not tell you to sand them off.  Otherwise, it's a sharp model with the striping nicely done.

Looks very good for a first build, like many others my first build was awful, admittedly It was 31 years ago lol

Id be more than happy with this one Martin.
