Well, it's finally done after sitting in the closet since around '99. I managed to get PE parts for it too as I was starting this discontinued kit. I got them in four days. Here it is with lots of pix. Thanks for looking.

That looks really good. Who heat shielding did you use under the hood.?  Well done!!

Thanks. The heat shielding is that alum. duct tape. The texture is molded into the hood. It was like applying BMF only thicker with a stronger adhesive.

Very nice. Are the white "sleeves" on the plug wires paint?

Yes, I used paint as it was the only thing that was thin enough, besides, I didn't have anything else to use.

Very nice and clean job on what I know can be a very difficult and fiddly kit! B)

Your paint is exceptionally smooth, and no other color makes this car look best 'cept red! I've got both the Spyder and the coupe, and someday I'll get the ambition to wrestle with 'em again.

great build of a really detailed model, I have one in the stash, not got the nuts to start it! well done!

x 2 - except that I have 4 in my stash waiting to be built.

I happened to see one of the rare originals in Italy, on the lake of Lago di Garda, about 12 years ago, in exact the very same color combination inside and out like your model - very impressive!
