Lovefordgalaxie Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 My second black 1960 Starliner. One can't have too many Satrliners. Paint is automotive, synthetic enamel in Raven Black. Foil is home made, not BMF. 1960 Ford Galaxie Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Galaxie Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Galaxie Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Galaxie Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Galaxie Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Galaxie Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Galaxie Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Galaxie Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Galaxie Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr
CometMan Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Another beautiful build from your bench, Tulio! I always thought the '60 was a beautiful car, but one thing I always thought a little strange is that the steering wheel looks like it is up-side-down!
wisco8 Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 That is very very beautiful Túlio. I have been following your work for quite some time and have just read your article on foiling. Your work is among the very best in the world. I appreciate your dedication and steadfast ability to create the marvels you do so well. Thank you for sharing, Steve
ChrisBcritter Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 An obsidian jewel. Did you have a decal for the speedometer, or was it drybrushed?
Miatatom Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Love the color choices. My first car that I bought was a 61 Chevy Impala 2 door hardtop, black outside and red inside. Some day I'll finish the scale version. Beautiful work! What did you use as an adhesive for the homemade BMF?
Lovefordgalaxie Posted September 27, 2016 Author Posted September 27, 2016 Gentlemen, thank you very much for your comments An obsidian jewel. Did you have a decal for the speedometer, or was it drybrushed? Actually, none of the methods you said. What I did was to foil the dash, then I used some thinned Modelmaster black as a wash inside the instruments. Since the detail on the instruments is pretty sharp, it worked quite well. bbowser Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 I can't think of anything to say besides.... WOW!!!!! What he said!
StevenGuthmiller Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Another beauty Tulio! But, don't you ever get tired of building Fords? I love Mopars, but I build tons of GM & Ford vehicles too! If it was made prior to about 1972, they're all fantastic in my eyes. Steve
