I built a replica of my 1:1 1991 Mustang SSP from Santa Clara CA. It was built box stock from the Revell police Mustang kit. I'll add a few more pics tomorrow but here's a couple I snapped fresh from the work bench.

Thanks everyone. I had my reservations about building this kit after all the body issues were brought to light. I took a hard look at it and compared it to the 1:1 car and decided I could live with it. My oldest son told me he wanted a replica of the real thing so that made the decision easier.

The paint is Tamiya Silver Leaf (TS-30) over three coats of Tamiya primer, then polished with a polishing kit starting at 4000, then hit with 3-4 coats of Testors Wet Look Clear lacquer. I then polished it all again with the kit starting at 4000, and finished the trim off with airbrushed XF1 flat black.
