Porscheman Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 (edited) I picked this one up at the LIARS show last weekend. I replaced the damaged glass and tinted it. Corrected the ride height and changed the too small MPC tires with AMT's Firestone from their parts pack. I paid $15.00 for this 67 Pontiac. Thanks for looking. carman1 Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Excellent save of a rather rare kit, the 67 full size Pontiac is one of my favorites
DumpyDan Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Good buy, I would not have past that up either
bbowser Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Love the big Ponchos. A black wash on the wheels would set it off nicely.
Snake45 Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 You did great--both on the buy and on your work on it. Well done and model on!
wayne swayze Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 The stance is much better since you lowered the front end.
CometMan Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Another nice save, Al! You really have found a honey hole for nice rebuilders of unusual subjects, at very reasonable prices, too!
StevenGuthmiller Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 You're just a regular wrecking machine when it comes to pumping out these kits Al. And nice ones too. I've had a '67 Bonneville sitting on my shelf waiting it's turn for a couple of years now. Wish I had more building time so I could start getting a few more of these done! Steve
donb Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Great looking car. Don't understand why GM made them so Small!
ChrisBcritter Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Big improvement! Looks like the body was short-shot next to the driver's side taillight?
StevenGuthmiller Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Big improvement! Looks like the body was short-shot next to the driver's side taillight?I noticed that too.Either that or it was chipped at some point in it's long life.Could have been a factor in why you got it so cheap Al. Steve
gray07 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 sweet, to me the 67 was the best big pontiac
c. jackson Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 15 bucks for a 67 bonneville? cant pass that up. I just love big 60's pontiacs. great work.
High octane Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 Very nice as my first 1:1 car was a Pontiac.
