OH man I would love to see a Cherokee model. It baffles me that not one model company has ever made a model of any year Jeep Cherokee(Sport).I mean yea,I think Lindberg came out with a 1/20 scale Grand Cherokee..I would like to see the other cars be made too.

I chose the Cherokee since I do love the looks of the 80's models (2 door rather than the 4 door however), and the only way you could potentially complete it is by using parts from the Tamiya Grand Cherokee and Wrangler kits, though that would be expensive.

I think any of the 1969 - 1972  Dodge and Plymouth C bodies would be big sellers. 4 dr sedans, wagons, 2 dr hts. I would be a buyer of 7 to 10 of any of these.

Hey Paul. Thanks for commenting. If you're interested in having some cars molded, let me know. When did you move from San Diego?

I'm with Paul!

I'll buy the '71 Polara; and 2 or 3 '72 Coronets; I'll buy the '72 Grand Fury (2 or 3); I'd love to have 2 or 3 '72 Polaras, a dose (2 or 3) of '74 Monacos; a '69 Fury I or II; and, oh yeah --->  a gaggle of '77 Nova 9C1s!

All of this after I get my hands on your Chevy brick.  And maybe one of your Crown Wicks.

That should keep my bank account busy until you start doing some good SUVs.  B)

I would be interested in a 1970 Plymouth Fury GT , 2 door only. Any of the rest,,no thanks

A - if its complete ,,maybe less drivetrain or something. But for me I need the complete interior ,chassis ( promo style is fine ) ,  the body and hood , the bumpers - grill  and glass. If the hood is molded shut not a problem

B - if its of modelhaus -or missing link quality . Ehter of the 2 I'll buy site unseen.

Otherwise it needs to be in my hand for inspection prior payment

I would buy the LTD as I am a FoMoCo man. But only as a complete kit. That means glass, chassis, interior, bumpers and grille and off course appropriate lens' for the lights. Makes no difference about the engine or wheels and tires, but a body only is rather insipid, as there are no donor kits available at all. I bought the 78 LTD kit a  while back from Missing Link, and talk about quality casting and what came with it, it is amazing. For the little LTD a price between $55.00 -$60.00 as a complete kit is fair. Anything less means missing pieces or poor quality and I would avoid it completely. You get what you pay for, and cheap usually is very dear......

Something bothered me about the LTD/Fairmont idea so I did some checking. Offering the little LTD with the option to convert to a Fairmont would be a DISASTER. One or both models would be completely inaccurate and look like garbage. Beyond the door skins, the Fairmont and LTD only shared the chassis. The nose of the LTD was more sloped, the back and front windows more angled as well. The Fairmont was a boxier car, with a more upright front windshield and back window. The only logical and practical choice would be to allow the modeler the choice of building it either as an LTD or the little Marquis. And provide both grille and tail section choices. Offered either as an LTD/Fairmont I would run not walk away from the idea completely. Having worked for Ford for 28 years has taught me what accuracy with its product line is supposed to be....

LTD LX.......

Makes no difference as to LTD, LTD Brougham, or LTD LX. Body and sheet metal was all the same, only some chrome was blacked out. And of course the 5.0L V-8. Other than that everything else was identical. But beyond the door skins, the car had little to nothing in common with a Fairmont.

Not sure if anyone's been keeping an eye on eBay or not, but Robert has offered "test shots" of the 1982 Ford LTD Crown Victoria body he mastered. None are currently available, but it wouldn't hurt to ask if you're seriously interested:

You'll get that Nova when I finally get around to creating the master. I assume the 9C1 package had the BASIC basic interior...If you have references for this Nova, it would be helpful.

Not really like to have, or really like to see, but actually pay money to buy.

$25

1971 Dodge Polara

1984 Jeep Cherokee

Ford LTD LX and Fairmont 2 in 1

1/25th scale full body with separate bumpers, grilles, lights. High quality castings. No interior or chassis like the Jimmy Flintstone cars. If sales are steady, interior and chassis parts will follow (like the Aluma Coupe and Chezoom kits).

Thank you you for reading.

The NO interior is a DEAL BREAKER for me ......

Posted

1971 Dodge Polara for sure.  As stated in above post; if there is no interior that would be a deal breaker.    Please cast this with a correct interior.
