curt raitz Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 My third of four '57 Corvettes for the NNL West. This is the 1/25 AMT/Ertl 1957 Chevrolet Corvette "Street Machine". Built mostly from the box with a few added details. This kit does build up to be a very nice model, crisp detail and stuff fits! Paint is Tamiya's Metallic Orange TS-92 and Racing White TS-7 for the scallops. The fourth '57 Corvette will the reissued AMT Chevy Convertible Corvette from the "Car Culture Series". I will build it as stock '57 Corvette. All will be displayed together at the NNL West in January.
Snake45 Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Beautiful job, and magnificent color! I've got to get a can or two of that!

espo Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Another super clean Corvette build. You can probably do these in your sleep now.
D. Battista Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Very nice build...! I've always liked the engine in that kit...!
PARTSMARTY Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Great build my friend- awesome color and I love that engine !!!
JerseyRed Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Very nice! I love the color combo. I might have to use that Racing White on the scallops of the Corvette I'm working on. It seems like a good replacement for the original Snowcrest White that I wanted to use.
tbill Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 i like that a lot! great color on a clean build, well done.
