donb Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 This is a curbside, Built for NNL East a couple years ago for sub-theme of "Service Cars". This is a funeral flower car. I added a little humor to it with decals. Check out the decals (Please keep in mind this was meant to be humorous). Was a fun build and l kind of grinned to myself when it was done. It came out better than expected too. Wheels, Tire and Hub caps are from Modelhaus. Paint is Duplicolor black and I just don't recall who I had make the decals. Close up of the door Can you imagine following this flower car? Nope! Comments welcome.
High octane Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Nice build, and back-in-the-day I remember flower cars as being Cadillac's.
donb Posted December 11, 2016 Author Posted December 11, 2016 Nice build, and back-in-the-day I remember flower cars as being Cadillac's. Yeah they were but this company was really CHEAP!
StevenGuthmiller Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Yeah they were but this company was really CHEAP! Do they use a Vega hatch back for a hearse? Nice work by the way! Steve
peekay Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 I like it a lot and the decals got me grinning! The wheels and tyres are perfect - the Modelhaus will be widely missed.
shoopdog Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Turned out very well. I just started on the AMT 60 Ranchero myself, it definitely calls for different tires and wheels.
Jantrix Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Thanks for the smile and it looks terrific.
Cpt Tuttle Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 LOL. Elegant at a first glance, laughing my head off at the second....
MGL Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 I feel like I saw this in a magazine awhile back and liked it, thanks for posting, the one picture in the magazine left me wanting to see more. Great job on what looks like a fun model to build.
