When I was assembling this I cracked the body wide open on the drivers side so I shelved it. One day I decided to fix it so I started adding braces under the body and got it back in primer.. Similar to my truck Jimmy saw it and wanted it to cast so it went his way..... These are the first round pics. It has been re painted a darker color because I couldn't find the paint info on the lighter shade that it's in in these pics.....

You can see the crack just after the door in this pic...

Resin copy that is being built now....

I also have another one being built as a mild kustom painted in blue....

Nice. So that's where the Jimmy Flintstone one came from? I've been ogling it for some time.Does it have a 421? And how did you achieve the "soft  tire " look? I'll end up with an invoice for all the questions.:P

Now that is just straight-up cool. I've seen a lot of Camino-versions that just didn't "work" visually, but for some reason this one really does. Well done and model on!

Boy oh boy, you've got plenty of skills!

I love these ponchos. I see you had trouble getting the top edge of the front bumper level.

There's something about the way the parts fit there, which AMT missed.

That really does look excellent though. Like it's factory.

yup I'm the one behind it......

it does have the 421 in it and the soft tire look I just used an X-Acto and cut them off. They are the solid rubber Firestone so they were pretty easy to cut.

Great stuff as usual Kerry, but the left rear looks a little low to me...

Looks like I'll have to get the pressure gauge out tonight eh Mitch??!! LOL

Also she's done now.... A little darker green than before but none the less done again.....

Agree with many others that this "just works"! Beautiful proportions make it look like a factory piece. I think the tail end is more attractive than any actual Elky.
