brodie_83 Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Trying to figure out how to make a custom fuel injection setup on a Mopar engine in a Plymouth Volare kit. Looking for some pictures of what other people are doing. Thanks guys!
Ace-Garageguy Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 (edited) This is a full-scale system I did on a Chrysler 354 (old-style Hemi) in a '33 Plymouth chassis. The engine management system is by FAST, and the 2-barrel Weber-look throttle bodies, manifold and fuel rails are by Imagine. You could use Weber IDA downdrafts (like on a Cobra) to get this look. The Hilborn injection on the Accurate Miniatures 1/24 McLarens is also a possibility for ultra-high-performance on the street. Though the vintage racing-only system in the kit is purely mechanical, an electronic version that looks very similar is available today from Hilborn. Edited February 6, 2017 by Ace-Garageguy

brodie_83 Posted February 6, 2017 Author Posted February 6, 2017 Oofta...that Buick GSX engine looks amazing! Great job! Definitely some inspiration right there!
Can-Con Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Here's the engine in my '69 Beaumont convertible. Just used a parts box tunnel ram dual quad manifold with a scratch built injectors and fuel rails and air box on top.
brodie_83 Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 Nice, Can-Con! Those both look great and fairly simple. Thanks for posting!
