Classicgas Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Did this for a review in the Dec. 2016 issue of SA.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Hummm. Mansoon Marron. second to Medium Luster Black, this is my favorite color on a fat fendered Ford.LOVED it. Just missed the chrome trim on the running board and lower front fender.
Classicgas Posted April 16, 2017 Author Posted April 16, 2017 Thanks. yeah, I ran out of time, only had a month to build it.
bbowser Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 That's a beauty! Love the color and the interior work.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Thanks. yeah, I ran out of time, only had a month to build it.Yes I know what you mean. Building a model under a deadline takes the fun of the thing. At least for me it takes. Usually if someone asks me to build a model (mainly my cousin), I just say I'll call him when done.
Classicgas Posted April 16, 2017 Author Posted April 16, 2017 Thanks guys. Yeah, I won't do it again. Plus the editor there is a pain to work with.
GeeBee Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Very nice build, I build models for commission, and for magazines, not always as much fun as it sounds ....
Classicgas Posted April 16, 2017 Author Posted April 16, 2017 Thanks. Yeah, you're limited to how you build.
CometMan Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Nice work Lee! Always nice to see older cars built stock.
misterNNL Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Great build. Those post war Ford's were a thing of beauty. Thanks for sharing.
