I had one of these kits when I was 12 or 13 years old. I don't recall that I finished building it but I do remember that I enjoyed working on it. When I found this kit at a swap meet a few months ago, I just had to get it and take another shot at it. If you're interested, the "On The Workbench" build thread is here.

I had to manufacture a front license plate mount for the front plate... which I also made on my printer.

Here is the spare wheel and cover that I put together, donated to the parts box from some long-lost kit.

Very nice

Thanks Mike.

Nice build David. Sharp!

Thank you Donald

Nice to see one built stock. Great build! I like the colors and the covered spare.

Sam

Thanks Sam, I just couldn't use that... thing... that AMT provided as a spare wheel kit.

I agree completely. Nice build.

Thank you Jay.

Don't change a thing looks great the way it is...

Thank you Don, couldn't change it if I wanted.

This build shows total respect for the original AMT kit - in other words a kit build done at its best. Bravo!

Thank you Bernard, it's nice of you to say so.

Awesome!

Thanks Chris,

Beautiful build, so glad you built it as a showroom. Great to see just how nice these cars looked as they came from the factory.

David, That turned out great, as a motor head such as myself it's good to see how these cars were when they first came off the dealer's floor, keep them coming, Rick

Very nice!

Thanks Steve.

Love seeing a stock build.  Great color combination, clean build.  That spare really sets it apart.

Thank you Bruce, I'm rather pleased with the way it all turned out.

Thank you David. I tend to favor stock builds these days, at least for now.

She looks great. The way a '32 is supposed to look.

Thank you Túlio, knowing the quality of work you do, that means much to me.

Thanks Rick, I tend to look at the beginning or the end of the story. Everything in the middle I leave to others.

Very nice!

Thank you Bo.

I'm going to be away from the board for a few days spending some time with the Wifey- should be back Thursday or Friday with a new project in the works.

Thanks again and see you all later.

I've gone in and reedited the old photos to hopefully make them a bit more eye friendly and uploaded them to the topic once again. This should be the last time I have to rescue this topic from the PhotoBucket Monster.
