Isle of Man on Velocity channel this week.

Fearless or insane, one or the other. But if you love bikes, you've got to watch some of it. Unbelievable!

A little of both I think Tom.  They are averaging over 130 MPH on a lap.  Top speed pushing 200 on public roads!

There's very little room for error on the Isle of Man. Never did race bikes on pavement. Just didn't have the nerve.

Full on Insane. Love the Side-cars and Super Karts when they run.

I rode bikes as a young man, mostly dirt though, and never at speeds like this. Watching the video gives me "tunnel vision" and the corners jacks with my equilibrium. Then the rider looks at the guy passing him. Makes you wonder who didn't drink enough energy drink this morning.

Fun to watch but they are nuts, plain and simple.

Was just getting around this morning to reading an article in Sunday's NY Times about the number of deaths at The Isle of Man races. I may be crazy, but pavement motorcycle racers are completely insane.

Having used to own a 1986 Suzuki GSXR750 

It was a blast to ride.....but these youngsters today have  knads of steel to ride at those speeds and conditions
