Shelby 427 1965 Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Well, hello there! Feels like literally forever since I was last on the site, never mind posting a model. Some of you may remember me, a lot of you probably don't. Going to university, a breakup and real cars have sadly taken up all my time but it's summer now and I was itching to get building. Fans of the Fallout games will like this one. Kit is Revell's Jaegermeister one and is box stock except for licence plates and vinyl stickers. They're a bit out of scale, I know. Wire the engine bay too. It's not perfect but it's got me over the hunch and back into building! Cheers. all comments are much appreciated - Tomo
Foxer Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Those colors make it pop! Good idea for a build. Looking good! It's good to see a Revell bus built ... a bus with engine and interior.
espo Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Great looking build. I'm not familiar with the Fallout Games theme but the color combination looks great. Nice crisp color separation. Question, the body kings shoe the Boston Division but you have California license plates.
Shelby 427 1965 Posted July 31, 2017 Author Posted July 31, 2017 Thanks very much everyone, it means a lot! @espo - It's hard to make out in the photos but they aren't California plates. They're homemade ones based around a location in the game called Concord. I designed them up in photoshop and printed them out. Cheers!
crazyjim Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Makes sense. Why would California plates go on a "Boston Divison" vehicle?
Xingu Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Nice. Now we need to see the post atomic detonation version.
o-man Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Tomo, good to see you back building! Sorry for the breakup, but good on the education. Golf still running well for you?
Tom Geiger Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Hey Tomo! Good to see you back on the board and building again!

geetee66 Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 That's a sharp build!Nicely done with neat details ?Those colours really pop, in the sunshine!
Shelby 427 1965 Posted August 21, 2017 Author Posted August 21, 2017 Thanks so much everyone for all of the lovely comments, I've been flat out lately and haven't had a chance to be back on to thank you all. Working two jobs and trying to build two cars before uni starts again late september takes it's toll! O-man - the less said about my Golfs and their running the better!
MeatMan Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Hey! Where's the Pip Boy!! LOL!I love it. I'm a Fallout fan. 1
