JasonC Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Finished up this 2002 today. First time using Tamiya spray paint, and I am impressed with it!
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Nice job. The color, wheels and details. I've always loved the 2002. Gotta get a couple of these kits.
Dominik Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 very nice! the wheels are perfect in my view. Well done!
JasonC Posted August 14, 2017 Author Posted August 14, 2017 Thank you. The wheels are Fujimi Volk Mesh. I had to shave down the rear wheels and use the narrower front tires on the rear for them to fit. Although I did have to cut into the tire and wheel to clear the shock. Other things on it are from other kits, front fogs are from the 69 Corvair kit, rear fog is a spotlight from a 40 Ford kit, air dam from a 80s/90s Chevy 1500 trick kit, and rear spoiler is a cut down BMW Alpina e24 part.
PARTSMARTY Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 I think it looks great and love the seat patterns !!!
Dann Tier Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Fantastic!! -my favorite is picture #4!!.....looks real!!
Daddyfink Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Wow, that is pretty cool! That is a sharp buildNeed to get a me a few of those!
donb Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Sharp wheels, interior, dash and color. Pretty much sharp overall. Excellent build.
espo Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Looks just like the real car. I especially like the interior treatment on the seats.
JasonC Posted August 14, 2017 Author Posted August 14, 2017 I used Washi tape for the seats. And still can't believe that people are saying they don't want this model cause of the lack of detail on the door panels.

bbowser Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Great looking model. I like your alterations, but looks a little funny to me without a front bumper.
JasonC Posted August 14, 2017 Author Posted August 14, 2017 (edited) No front bumper is personal preference, some guys run no bumpers on either end. Edited August 14, 2017 by JasonC
