Mike999 Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 Just saw these, cruising around the Internet. The 3-figure set is still listed as Pre-Order, so not quite out yet. The other 3 figures are showing as already in stock at Freetime Hobbies, at $9.95 each: Claire the redhead...Jackie with the Porsche...and Sloan "Vegas-Baby:"
Snake45 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Two of them with cellphones? No thanks. Too much of that in 3D world. I'm kinda diggin' the one with the gun, though.
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I'm kinda diggin' the one with the gun, though. Just be sure to call her "sir".
CapSat 6 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 FYI...I've been looking at the MB stuff for quite some time...when you look at the product pics on eBay, some sellers show the box cover view, the back of the box (which shows pics of the actual kit parts), and sometimes, a gray built kit is shown as well. From what I have seen, sometimes the illustrations don't quite match the kit parts. I like to look at the kit parts to help me determine if I like the kit or not...
cobraman Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 How much for the redhead, full scale?By the hour ?
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 By the hour ? Only way I could afford it. The last couple keepers cleaned me out.

Some of the MasterBox 1/35 scale figures "don't quite match the kit parts," either. Though I have to say, their best efforts come close to the sharpness and detail of resin figures, at a much lower price. They've recently started a 1/35 scale "Indian Wars" series that looks good, and really fills a gap in 1/35 plastic figures. In the bigger 1/24 scale they usually do even better. Here's an assembled 1/24 Pinup Girl. I'm impressed by the details like fingernails, teeth, the knee/ankle joints etc. And the anatomy, of course...
Matt Bacon Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 This one of the earlier ones painted up: It's true that the kit parts don't always quite match the illustrations, but they scrub up pretty well all the same... best, M.

espo Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 With those teeth she looks like she could eat corn on the cob thru a picket fenced.
John Goschke Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Oh, man. Every car modeler will need to purchase these dvds or something similar in book form and practice, practice, practice, before displaying any figure with their model or we're going to be doing even more cringing at the NNL.http://www.darkswordminiatures.com/shop/index.php/dark-sword-masterworks-miniature-painting-with-marike-reimer-4-dvd-set.html

Snake45 Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Especially the last one. Just imagine an elevator ride with her, "Going up miss?" Unless you had a million bucks hanging out of your pocket, she wouldn't even notice you. She's on the phone with somebody more "important."
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 ...She's on the phone with somebody more "important." And these days, it'll probably be her wife or girlfriend.

ranma Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 I checked their web page, The Female after the cop isn't holding her phone. The phone is not molded into her hand, But the other female does. SO you could have her reading a map, menu, paper, small book, giving her licence to the police officer?????

Surely I can't be the only one who thinks she looks like Julie Newmar, the original Catwoman.
Xingu Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 It's nice to have fun, but please remember this is a family oriented site.
Mike999 Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 Another new 1/24 scale Master Box set. "Bob & Sally, the Happy Couple." This one shows the parts layout etc. Got a diorama idea for this couple - anybody know where I can find a 1/24 scale great white shark?
