Tom Kren Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Revell kit shot in Brown Betty paint from Bobs Paint then added some HOK Cocoa Pearl to it. interior shot in a light tan Wheels are 19-23 Smoothies from Z-Man wheels aka Steve Zimmerman. most is just box stock but added wires on engine
Jantrix Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 These '37 Ford Monogram kits are really underappreciated in my opinion. They are the quintessential "billet rod" but with a little parts swapping they clean up real well.Tom, a great looking build. Nice work. I'll have to contact Z-Man and get some of those wheels.
mrindy77 Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Nice rod. Your builds are always spot on. Clean, just the right stance.
donb Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Tom -anyway you look at it it's awesome !!!Agree. That paint is outstanding. Always enjoy your builds Tom!
Metaldrumm Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Wow nice ,you knocked out of the park on this one.
matthijsgrit Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 That's a really nice build! Love the color choices and the wheels!
DeeCee Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 That is STUNNING.... beautiful paint work, and the wheels really suit it.
espo Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Beautiful paint job and the color really stands out. The wheels make it look very current with street rod trends. Looking at this build it is hard to think that at one time the '37 was called "the ugly duckling" .
Helix Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Nicely done Tom, the Zimmerman Wheels give it the no nonsense "sleeper" look
