Bobdude Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 A lot of people paint model kits like the box art. It's nice to see you have gone in a different direction.
jjsipes Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Clear it. Make it nice and shiny. A lot people like the suede look but shiny is the way to go.
Mikey56 Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 I like it....wife says that I can't build a model without cutting it to pieces, gluing something odd to it, painting it an outlandish color....or simply messing it up from what the box looks like....that's me....a modeling outlaw! love the color...but really, shine it up....only way to go!
mikemodeler Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Shoot the clear, make that color pop! Nice work so far!
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I say put the body on the chassis, will look better that way... -RRR
mustang1989 Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Nice job so far. I'm with the crowd on this one .................clear it.The more I work with this kit the more I like it. I'm not exactly in love with the metal axle at the front suspension as it is clearly visible and it goes right through the oil pan???? Other than that Revell gets a thumbs up for this one. Lots of detail packed into this kit.
Tom Kren Posted September 2, 2017 Author Posted September 2, 2017 A lot of people paint model kits like the box art. It's nice to see you have gone in a different direction.I knew there would bee a lot of box builds
