bogger44 Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Finally, I got another build finished today. Paint is Model Master Dark Bronze Metallic. Had to adjust the rear suspension to get the tires lined up in the wheelwells, and spaced them out a bit too as the rear track is really narrow oob. Speaking of tires, they are AMT pad-printed units. All in all a really good kit, though I did have some issues with the front valence/grille fit and a little with the hood as well.
donb Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 That is one sharp looking car! Great color and nice detailing. Very well done!
Mr mopar Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Very nice Tony ...............................Looks very clean .
Arjay 396 Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 The nose seems a skosh high but that's a magnificent build overall. (insert "thumbs up" emoticon here)

Very nicely done..Engine color is correct Chrysler Engine Turquoise or as Duplicolor calls it Chrysler Engine Green..Very well done and super clean,clean,clean....
High octane Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Beautiful job on that Charger, as I just love dem B-body Mopars!
tmb727 Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Shows beautifully from all angles, inside and out, front and back. Clean indeed.
iamsuperdan Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Now that is a sharp build! I think you nailed the rear track width.
Hmann68 Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Absolutely fantastic! Great work all around! My favorite car in one of my favorite colors. Well done!
smhardesty Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Great build, Tony. Love that color. I'm really impressed with the overall appearance of the engine compartment. It's extremely realistic. One question. Did you paint the engine block separately from the rocker arm covers, or did you have the covers on the block when you painted?
PARTSMARTY Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Perfect in every way-I absolutely love it and a mopar-it doesn't get any better than that -lol !!!
mredjr Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Great job Tony!! Looks like back in the day.
'70 Grande Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 (edited) Wow! This post will be saved as a build "...to inspire exceptional, clean and well-detailed building and the results that can be achieved." I'll look at this one often to motivate myself to hopefully, one day, be able to build a 1/25 model like this! Edited September 2, 2017 by '70 Grande
rickcaps55 Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 That is totally awesome right on the mark the color and the wheels pure muscle of the 60's.
Andrew D the Jolly Roger Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Nice build of one of my all-time favorite cars!!
espo Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Beautiful build. The tires do fit the look of the model perfectly.
Slotto Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Amazing job on the Charger. She's flawless. Great color and the background makes these pictures pop. Beautiful!
bogger44 Posted September 2, 2017 Author Posted September 2, 2017 (edited) Thanks a bunch guys. The nose seems a skosh high but that's a magnificent build overall. (insert "thumbs up" emoticon here) I agree, it's a little bit higher than I'd like but I just went with it. I guess the owner cranked the torsion bars Lol. Great build, Tony. Love that color. I'm really impressed with the overall appearance of the engine compartment. It's extremely realistic. One question. Did you paint the engine block separately from the rocker arm covers, or did you have the covers on the block when you painted? I assembled everything that needed to be turqouise, then painted it all as one unit. Edited September 2, 2017 by bogger44
