Dennis Lacy Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 This is just fantastic! I love everything about it. Just spot-on!!!
W-409 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Wow, excellent work with this '29! Definitely one of the better Model A builds that I've seen, great job with the weathering and that stance is spot on too. Even though I'm a Chevy guy, it's nice to see something different under the hood. Actually I can't remember when I saw an Y-Block last time fitted in a Hot Rod build. Very nice work!
502 Posted April 7, 2018 Author Posted April 7, 2018 Brought home a little hardware from Cincinnati Challenge today.
unclescott58 Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Very nice. It deserves the award it got. Congratulations. ?
misterNNL Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 I saw this at the contest Saturday and heard the award announced. Well deserved. Honestly, your posted photos actually show the details better than seeing it from a distance on the table for my old eyes. Truly a model to be proud of.

Thank you, I wish there was a way I could show off more of the little detail. Being a black car that makes it even harder. I need to get a mirror base, I also considered making the top removable to show off the interior detail. 15 hours ago, unclescott58 said: Very nice. It deserves the award it got. Congratulations. ? Watertown Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Best example of pioneer hot rodding In scale I've seen yet! Nice work!
Mr. Metallic Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Man, I'm glad you brought this back to the top. I missed it back when you finished it. It's certainly something to behold. The patina is just so well done. Like others said, you nailed the stance, and the use of the y block is something special. Well done sir.
