At least.
espo Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 In some states that could be covered under the "Justifiable Homicide Law". In reality when a relationship has reached this point it's better to cut your losses, pay your alimony if need be, and just move on. The other party has lost all respect for you and any resemblance of the relationship you may of once had. Say good bye and then get on with your life.

My wife and I still use that line "Is that your friend in the Wood Chipper?" always good for a laugh. I based my statement on life's experiences and some heavy payments in the past. There were some dark days , but in the end I have found the most wonderful person to spend the rest of my life with. This is why I would encourage anyone in this position to not give up and don't do anything stupid that you will regret later, they just aren't worth your time and energy.

It records your sleep patterns and sends the data back to it's mothership. I can view activity on my cell phone app. The unintended side benefit is that when I'm away on business I can see if anyone has slept on my side of the bed, or if there was a lot of activity!
JollySipper Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 Tom, have you ever been down to NC? There are people here that talk still like that letter reads! The hardships the author was facing sounds like they didn't have time for a proper education....... too busy trying to survive on a farm.

Yeah, and it reads just like what a lot of HS grads vomit up today. What's THEIR excuse?

Always worked for me. I've always been intrigued by the logic employed by women who say that letting themselves get snookered by Raul-the-pool-boy or Tony-the-bartender was somehow MY fault, and not down to the simple fact that they apparently were just lying when they said that stuff about "forsaking all others" and "for better or for worse" and "oh-baby-baby-you're-the-best". None of the marriage vows I've ever heard once said "forsaking all others unless a business trip takes one of the partners away from home", or "unless you're drunk".

Bill, I cut my losses in 1990 after my wife cheated for the third time gave her all the furniture and left. She gave me more you know what while she was married because I wouldn't take her back. Sometimes some men or women are never happy unless it's making their ex miserable.

I bet.... Maybe they're building the Crane Museum and that's going to be the showpiece in the lobby. Did you ever think of THAT?
High octane Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 I've also been in the construction trades for many years also, and that one takes the cake. LOL!

cowboy rich Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Several years of construction and working with cranes myself and have never seen that before. That' way funnier than watching the epoxy floor guy put him self into a corner. Could they just pull a panel or was it to late?
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 27, 2018 Author Posted January 27, 2018 While we're talking about construction...lotsa folks get upset with me when I harp on the propensity for workers to deliver just flat incompetence instead of quality these days. Have a look at what kind of roofing job $20,000 can get you. I see this kind of idiot moron hacking EVERYWHERE, on EVERYTHING. Cars, plumbing, general home "repairs", new construction. electrical work...
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 27, 2018 Author Posted January 27, 2018 (edited) And here's a $2.4 MILLION DOLLAR house built with the same pathetic attention to detail... Edited January 27, 2018 by Ace-Garageguy
Belugawrx Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Yep, most times you get what you pay for, sometimes you don't, same in any trade anywhere
High octane Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Wow, that's a big "punch list" of shoddy work for and expensive home like that. However the good news is that it's not MY home.
cowboy rich Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 That is just nuts, anyone involved with those jobs should be looking for new jobs, on a crew of mine they would be. On the jobs I have done I was lucky enough (most of the time) to have people working with me that ACTUALLY HAD PRIDE IN THEIR WORK Then the punch list at the end...mine was normally longer than the customers, or inspectors. Those two houses are a mess....very sad!

Belugawrx Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Back to stupid being the new smart,... when these poor sods are basing their decision on price only, they are always cutting their own throats.. "my uncle's nephews son says he can do it for half the price",...
