Lovefordgalaxie
My first build of the year, is a double build. Back in December, my cousin Marcelo asked me to build a '40 Ford for him. He took a look at the three available colors, and chose Lyon Blue, with extra cost color matching wheels, and wide whitewall tires. I had the color mixed, and when I got it on hand, found it to be so handsome, I had to build one for myself. So, I built two cars, that save for the licence plates, are 100% alike... Kind of a cool experience. This one on the pictures is mine. My cousin's is just the same, so, I saw no purpose in picturing both. The kit was built almost out of the box, only with the addition of fender welting and the necessary modification on the front axle, by shaving 3mm out. That avoids the front tires to touch the inside of the front fenders, and makes the completed car to look more like a real Ford. Lovefordgalaxie
Thanks guys!!! I also fell in love with the Lyon Blue. One curiosity tough: I never, ever saw a more difficult color to clean from the glass jar of the airbrush...And from under my finger nails... espo
Another beautiful build. I can see why Ford could charge extra for that Blue since it really shows the body lines well.

The Standard model came with black wheels.
