Got this kit in a trade with AFX. I like the version with the “plexi front”. And that forced me to some plastic surgery that I never had done before.  Of course some parts break but in the end it turned out ok.

First I put on a couple of layers of Tamiya Camel yellow and then some layers of Tamiya Chrome yellow. My purpose was to darken the Chrome yellow a bit.

I was convinced that I had taken some photos of the interior before I put it all together. But I was wrong, nothing in the camera. Pity because I was happy with the interior.

This was a nice kit and I like the wheels.

Comments are welcome.

Excellent work on the Daytona, one of my all time favorite cars. I like the plexi front cars also. The details are well done and the foiling looks good. Nice paint, too. Nicely done.

My next project is a Daytona, likely a mix of Italeri and Fujimi kits.
