I've been started a long time with this Project, and I would like to show you the construction path again.

I cobbled together several bodies, that were deformed or partially useable...

...  for exemple, from this one I cut the tail off

SwapContest-DansBox009.jpg

... from others the widenings, the tail wing comes from the Ferrari F50, and then comes filling, sanding, again and again, the roof is extended, or better said: a new roof manufactured, because it previously had none...

... and that's how it looks...

That's crazy, I like it! Needs some super deep turbine-style wheels and wild paint :D

Looks like a modern interpretation of a Greenwood Corvette.

Or maybe the Ferrari Breadvan was you inspiration? Regardless I like it.

Hi,

This is very very very very coooool.

Love it!

Great body work, looks like a bunch of work already.

The problem now is picking a wild, awesome engine to match.

Might I suggest this;

I might go with the Aurora/Northstar DOHC from (I think) the Shelby Series 1.

Thank you for the suggestion, a very nice piece.

Well, unfortunately it does not matter with the engine, I stuck the hood to the body to form a smoother shapethe cap on the hood is made of full polystyrene plates and putty, so the engine would have no place anyway...

Different and interesting! Is that the top from the Revell '68 roadster?

Unfortunately, I can not tell you that, I have a large arsenal of spare parts, I just took a suitable roof out of this box:

I like working in the initial phase with different colored primers, so I can better identify and eliminate the bumps and errors.
That's the penultimate primer, I think it's the way I want it now

That is the possible composition, rims and tires. but not yet deffinitive.

Cracking work. The wheels suit it, they remind me of the wheels used on 'Speed Racer'.

Thank you very much, Curt!

Well, those are some Lamborghini rims and tires, I did not notice it earlier, but the similarity is there...

Some li`l progress...

Well...

... that with the lambostilized ones was the wrong choice...

... I just put it down so fast to see how I wanted to go on, but seen that the wheels were way too small for the wheelhouse openings...

... so here's my new choice:

Thanks for the nice words, I appreciate this very much! B)

More progress on this one, the silver was just the primer, that's the color now, not yet clear lacquered and not polished, I experimented a bit again and thought first, this color would never dry...

Everything went well, the colors seem to tolerate each other.

It looks so after removing the masquerade:
