This is my Tamiya Jaguar Mk. II Saloon painted with Polly Scale CSX Blue with several coats of Tamiya TS-13 Clear and a Tamiya AS-25 Dark Ghost Grey interior.

Your Jaguar MK II build has turned out beautifully Michael, and that is a really nice shade of blue. Excellent work on the interior and the engine too. This is probably one of the nicest kits that Tamiya have produced, along with the Morgan 4/4 which has the same wheels and tyres. I should imagine you enjoyed working on this one Michael, and I certainly did.  One feature I decided upon was to leave the driver's side door window fully lowered, so that the dashboard detail can be fully appreciated. Did you manage to mate up the front pipes of the exhaust system to the exhaust manifold? ( I did not.... I'm ashamed to admit ! )

Yes, I did.  Everything lined up liked it should.  The downside of my build is an errant dog hair found its way into the interior of the Jag and is visible through the right rear passenger window and I noticed it after the interior and chassis was installed the glue had dried.  It's now there permanently...

Thanks everyone!

Unless this model Jaguar was entered in some sort of competition event. I don't think many people would notice the dog hair, but of course now you know it's there....

The precise fit of the body and chassis thanks to Tamiya was mainly why I did not glue the two parts together, and in fact none of my builds have glued on bodies, because I always like to lower the body onto the chassis and then it can be lifted off if I need to get at something.... like a dog hair!

I generally glue my bodies to the chassis so they don't come apart during handing at shows or at club meetings.  I had a model come apart at a club meeting and the chassis hit  the floor.  Don't want that to happen again!

Thank you John!

Good point Mike.... I seem to drop parts of model cars to the floor on a regular basis. Better safe than sorry, I guess!

Absolutely!  I've dropped my share of models over the years and I'm trying to change that...

Thanks Brian!  Yes, the metal transfers wouldn't stick, so I used Bare Metal Foil instead.
