damodelguy az Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 50 stud resin convertiable body, 97 corvette int, chassie and engine
89AKurt Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Was wondering what a "stud" is, won't help if someone searches "Studebaker" you know. I like this, it's a classic, and good use of a Corvette.
Plashdaddy Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Cool, reminds me of a Karmann Ghia from some angles.
rickcaps55 Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Ho yes I'm liking this a lot !!! this is totally deferent.!!! Keep it coming it's a awesome build.!!!
espo Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Does the caster offer the Starlight coupe also ? Even as a child I thought the unique look of the "Built Nose" Studebakers was special. Nice looks convertible. Did you open the wheel wells or did it come that way ?
Spex84 Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Neato, looks like the Stude fit the 'vette parts pretty well to begin with! I like the raked stance. The engine bay could maybe use a little highlighting or detail painting; it's kinda hard to see what's in there.
damodelguy az Posted May 18, 2018 Author Posted May 18, 2018 i did open the wells for the vette look on the tires, i do have a coupe, different caster, but no building idea yet. believe wells were the same. i do like the 3 window look of the 49, i believe
DumpyDan Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 Very cool, and nice work would not have none you started with a hard top. Good stuff.....Different!
