Well, I did finish the White Lightening Galaxie and I think it turned out ok. It’s good enough to take a place in my TV/MOVIE collection. The final assembly was not easy. A lot of final grinding, even with all the test fitting, but its done! Thanks for looking!

Looks really good.  Just like in the movie before Gator got ahold of it.  Now one question, does yours have an automatic or a 4-speed?  The sound track had Gator shifting gears, but when he parked it on more than one occasion he would put the column shift lever in the very up position- which in most cars is Park.

Looking back over the pictures I see it has a floor shift.

Yeah, the real on was an automatic. The few scenes he’s shifting, they never show the car he’s in, but hey, that was ‘80s movies I guess. I did mine as the 4speed as I thought it made a cool muscle car converting it to a 4 speed, which it not to say it couldn’t be done. Notice the shotgun on the passenger side...  Thanks for looking

Great build, it looks just like the movie car to me. The 1:1 car was such a good prop I never understood why they would destroy it so soon in the movie.
