crazyjim Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Used Tru-Color metallic canary yellow on this puppy and since the frame rails were a separate unit, I painted them the body color while the rest of the chassis is "undercoated" with Rustoleum Texture paint. Wheels/tires are from a '70 Road Runner kit.
Hmann68 Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Very cool! You won't have problems finding that car in the parking lot! My uncle bought a 70 Monte brand new with a 454. He sold it in early 90's with 35k original miles, for a large chunk of change
cobraman Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 That's a lot of yellow ! I like it. I will look at it again after I get my sunglasses ! Nice work.
MrObsessive Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 WOW! That really jumps right out at ya! I like that one Jim, and that's the EXACT shade of yellow my '69 AMX was in!
crazyjim Posted June 17, 2018 Author Posted June 17, 2018 Thank you Christopher, Ray, Chris, Bill, and James. I was going to add a switch to turn down the color but I forgot.
slusher Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Pretty sharp Monte Carlo Sir, real nice touch on the wheels!
