DRIPTROIT 71 Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Dodges are the overlooked semi trucks. There have been several builders on this forum who have built some great looking Dodge Semi trucks. Having finished my wrecker, I thought that it would be nice to see them all together. Here's my two IMG_1317 by Brian Smith, on Flickr Dodge Bighorn by Brian Smith, on Flickr
Pete68 Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Nice looking Big Horn I have a pic of a CNT Dodge I built when I was about 16yrs old I will keep looking for it and post when I find it
Jim B Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 I have several Dodges planned (A Big Horn, a L1000, & a D-300), but this is the only Dodge I've finished: 1969 L700.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted August 19, 2018 Author Posted August 19, 2018 Excellent builds guys!! Thanks for posting!!
Bucky Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 These are fantastic! A great variety of different trucks. I have some of the L700 kits, but I'd like to know the sources for the other DODGES you guys have here.
landman Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 In my case, the Bighorn is a Frontier Resins piece and the CNT 900 is from AITM.

My cabover is from a caster that no longer exists, but A.I.T.M. makes an even better version. My Bighorn is from RMR resin and it is still available.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted August 20, 2018 Author Posted August 20, 2018 These are all excellent builds! Thanks for posting!!! They look great!!

tim boyd Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Here's mine.....built from the IMC L-700 kit when it was first released back in 1969. I remember being blown away by the level of detailing and engraving on this kit. Built over the summer of 1969 with the Phil Jensen "Tale of Two Trucks" article in Car Model in the background..... PS - great work on those LTL 1000 models, you guys. Wow....they look just like the real thing. Same on the full size and cab forward conventionals.....TIM
Lordmodelbuilder Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Here are a couple that I built. Both are the original IMC kits and were Ebay gluebombs that I rebuilt. Love these L-Series trucks.

DRIPTROIT 71 Posted July 15, 2022 Author Posted July 15, 2022 I had forgotten about this thread. Great looking fleet Dan! I will add the last Dodge that I built as well. 1
