Vamach1 and Superbird, gotcha down on the list. That makes nine participants, so, GAME ON! :D

Looks like this might be a good round! GITTER DONEB)

Do I get bonus points if I finish any of these by Oct 1st? ?   Note that three of these are 1/32 scale.

The rule is, you have to have started it over a year ago (the longer ago, the better), and NOT worked on it steadily during the last year (again, the longer since you've worked on it, the better, preferably at least several months). Anything in your pics that qualifies to that is fine. 1/32 is fine.

The idea is to get a stalled project off the Shelf of Doom, or parole it from Styrene Jail. B)

Got some interior painting done after work today. Two coats of MM acrylic flat white on the headliner. Looks like it's going to need about four more coats. I have a day off tomorrow with nothing to do but get a haircut so I should get some more done. By the way, this kit was started in 2011.

That 1/32 69 Mustang body looks pretty nice. Have never seen one up close. Are the front bumper and grill separate from the body?

It’s basically a slot car body so the the bumpers are molded in.  I had a 2nd body so I modified the Mobogram 70 Mach1 chassis to fit the 69 body.

I got most of the interior  done. My attempt at doing the brushed aluminum on the console didn't turn out so hot. Still need to finish detailing the instrument panel and steering wheel.

New page, time for an update:

ROUND 8 : FINISH DATE SEPTEMBER 30, 2020

Tom Geiger: Jeepster

Disconovaman: '65 Mustang convertible

Spottedlaurel: '65 Corvette

Straightliner59: Peterbilt truck

Misha: Tall T coupe

TimJ: '99 Mustang Cobra

Oldscool: '66 Impala

vamach1: Mystic Chrome Cobra

SuperbirdMcMonte: '70 Superbird

Snake45: '66 Mustang

My last four completed projects have been AMT '66 Mustangs, (three survivor restorations and one new-build AWB street freak), so I'm kind of in the mood to stay in that lane. So I'm declaring this one, a started kit I bought at the local toy show in 2015 already painted fairly cleanly. I did some work on it at the time but like most of my junk, it got set aside. The plan is to complete it as a "high school hot rod" circa very early '70s, since the paint doesn't match a factory color but would make a good "Earl Schieb" or school auto shop paint job. It will take a quick but tasteful drive through the J.C. Whitney catalog. B)

I have another '66 fastback to restore, too, which I might also sneak in if I can find all the parts and pieces. (Started the rebuild on it many, many years ago, but that's another story.)

Got the dash and steering wheel done. The radio decal wouldn't cooperate so I just gave up on it. Got the decal in the center of the wheel upside down but who could really tell anyway.

Also added the washer bottle and upper radiator hose and got the "glass" glued in.The windshield was very iffy due to very little gluing surface but good won out over evil in the end. Next will be firewall details. The close up pics really show how sloppy my detail painting is.☹️

I'm going to finish the long slowed project (now a nearly 25 year project) to build an example of all of the 1930 Packard 734s. This round I'll do the Speedster Victoria.  The Speedster Coupe will probably have to wait until Round 9.

A little dab of black on the radio face should make it look good. Limited visibility after assembly anyway.

Okay, I've penciled you in for it. Just post a pic of where it is now and you're officially in! B)

Next round I'm in ! Lol I literally have a 98-02 Camaro junkyard but it's more like a scrap heap. There's 10 in there maybe 3 savable , all glue bombed  together most need to be repainted. Will this qualify me ? ?

Pick one and post a picture and you're in.

Here's the '30 Packard 734 Speedster Victoria.  I'd forgotten just how ugly it is at this stage. I had a false start with the chassis maybe 10 years ago and got the body shells (it's going to take 3-4) stripped.  And here we are.

Got the Impala almost finished.

Here she is on the trailer just home from the resto shop. Still needs body details and bumpers.

You need to start a wip on this one Eric, I would follow it.

66 Impala - calling this one done. Next pics will be in Under Glass.

That's lovely! Really like the trailer shots too.

I made a bit of progress on the Corvette yesterday, just about to add some photos to my WIP thread. If I have a few minutes I'll give it a coat or two of primer before I leave for work.
