Kenworth SAR Double Road Train

Hi all,

 

It's been a while since I have been on here, thought I would put up some pics of my latest and best build ever.

 

So we have a Double Road Train with a Kenworth SAR. I spent most of the year building it and finished it a week ago.

Fantastic work, great modeling and attention to detail, love the Kenworth SAR, hard to beat for looks and presence, the earlier one from the late sixties with the narrow bonnet and grill looks great too, once again, a top job, brilliant!!!

Absolutely fabulous! I have always been fascinated by the trucks from Australia, quite some time ago I started a double b- double train and have been at it for a while! I started with the AMT Kenworth K123 kit and 4 AMT Fruehauf Tanker kits. It’s a fictional build but I hope to finish this winter. My favourite Australian truck is the SAR Kenworth, what suspension did you use on the drives ? If you have a chance can you PM me , have several questions you might have answers to! Thanks Rick
