Brian, very sorry for the loss.  Hope you have a place to spend Thanksgiving where you can be among family and friends.  Happy to send you a kit if you would like.

Sorry to see that last photo Brian. I hope everyone got out in time. Stuff can be replaced and wounds heal with time.

Thank you for such kind words Aydin and Ron.

What did you all think of my builds?  Is there a favorite?

I was gonna re do the engine in the 356 dragster and make that thing a show winner.

Thank you Michael.

Well, sometimes one learns to walk with a limp.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I love the Fisher Porsche 908.   Very nice job.

Thank you for the praise and kind words.

That Fisher was my very first model and a huge struggle at that.

BTW Fisher burnt down in the Paradise fire.  Horrible!!!

I really like the F40! I think we all have our biases though. I am drawn to contrasting colors.

Thank you sir.  It was a serious struggle for me.  The Vallejo blue is brilliant as is all of there colors as they are heavy pigmented.

Sorry to hear of your loss, truly dreadful events in CA lately.  Can't imagine going through that.  Of your builds, my favorites would be the 904 and F40LM...

Thank you Rob.  I assume you mean the 908.

Brian I'm really sorry to see that happened to your place. I can't even imagine how horrible it is for everyone who is having to deal with these fires.

All of your builds look great but I think I like the Porsche 959 the best.

Wow, I can't even imagine. As horrible as it is though, your stuff can be replaced. You and your family cannot.

Looking forward to seeing some new builds once you get the important things back in order.

:)

Oh, and the 959/961 is my fav of the bunch.

Sorry to hear/see the devastation you are dealing with, the picture of your house is heart wrenching.  Wishing You and Yours the best of luck in moving forward!

All your models are cleanly built and nicely detailed.  The 356 Porsche Dragster and the Chaparral are my favorites.  The 356 is cool and very different....and I love any sort of American Road Racer.

Sorry to see your foreboding prediction about “plenty of fuel” after your sunset photo almost a year ago was unfortunately accurate. Ocean view, must have been very luxurious. Long as you keep your relative perspective on things, you should be fine. I doubt that even now you’d trade places with me, since I’ve never come remotely close to having a house like that, and - unless my lack of fortunes reverse - might not ever achieve it. Better to have lived luxurious and temporarily/inconveniently lost, than to have not lived that way at all. No chance of nature fires here, but I have renters insurance (poor as I am) because of the potential of my idiot neighbors burning the place to the ground.

Put in my vote for the Dino.

Hello every one and thank you very very very very very very much for your kindness and your looking at my builds.   This community is AAA class and the only one I visit.

I don't feel right asking for anything free or accepting them.  And while I did loose many unbuilt kits, I'm a tad more upset at my lost tools.  But I am going to replenish with even better ones.

Would any one happen to have connections with Dspiae?  Hoping to score a discount on there wonderful warez.

Hi Russell, I was a renter, albeit a stupid one w/o insurance.

The owner is packing it up and calling it quits.  It was nirvana while it lasted.

It's odd, I've a feeling the next hammer to fall will be the long awaited earthquake.  I'm a Cali native and just have that feeling in my bones.
