I recently finished also this Mooneyes themed Hasegawa Pick-up.

Rust and patina is made with hairspray and salt technique. I also opened the roof and added that mexican blanket there.

Wow what a great and clean build. Love the rusty look. I also like the little details (antenna, gear shifter, Michelin-man). Everything looks very realistic.

I really like what you did on this model. It is fantastic. The detailing you did was nicely thought out.  I have this kit and I am trying to decide what to do with it.  May I ask, how did you lower it?  That is precisely the stance I had in mind for mine.

That truck wasn't lowered, looks like the rust ate up all of the floorboards and the body fell down over the chassis.

That rust effect is just too realistic!
