89AKurt Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Nice, a subject I have not seen built. Wish Honda or someone built AWD cars nowadays, not into crossover SUVs. I like the subtle weathering and paint overspray.
Ahajmano Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Looks fantastic!! Nice to see these under utilized Tamiya kits get built
Pete J. Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 I've got one of those in my stash and was thinking about using the engine for another project. That has the 3SGT-e engine in it which is the same engine that is in my 1:1 93 MR2 turbo. I have the Hasegawa model of the MR2 and it is curb side. Was thinking to stealing the engine and swapping it into that kit to make a miniature of my real car.
dublin boy Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Nice to see one in white, and without the rear spoiler too.
alexandr1977 Posted March 26, 2019 Author Posted March 26, 2019 (edited) Thank you all for the feedback, there is a real 1 in 1 car of this car, I do a body restoration on it, a car with a large turbine and ecu vems, it goes much faster than a car stock on any surface Edited March 26, 2019 by alexandr1977
spencer1984 Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Very cool, it's great to see one of these built!
Bill Eh? Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 2nd last generation of good looking Supra's to me. You did a great job of rendering the full size in a model. Full engine detail was a bonus bonus, and looks authentic.
Marcel Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 This replica looks really great!! Indeed without spoiler good to see as well. Although you posted this in 2019, today in 2024 you inspire me! I have a real Celica too. The rims from the Tamiya look like starshape with 3 spokes, but the rims on the picture look better. I wonder, where did you get the nice rims?
Rattlecan Dan Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Very neat and clean build. Nice job. Looks great!
mrm Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 A rally legend. I almost bought a real one way back when.
