DiscoRover007 Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Wow looks very 288 GTO and also a Ford GT copy
Belugawrx Posted March 25, 2019 Author Posted March 25, 2019 Alot of the same styling cues for sure... Seems to be more and more the way, doesn't it. GM, Ford, Dodge..pickups are looking more and more alike...and now super cars
Richard Bartrop Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Don't care, it's beautiful. And of course when someone does do something unique, everyone reacts like a five year old to broccoli, "Ewwwww, it's strange, I hate it!"

Jon Cole Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Sooner or later, everything looks like something else.
Spex84 Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Saw some pics of the car this morning, but hadn't looked at it side-by-side with a GT40...wow. Some major similarities there! I'm not complaining though...it's an eccentric but attractive design, so I'll call that a win!
wku88 Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 More like P3/4 meets 288 GTO. Is this another Glickenhaus car?
935k3 Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Speaking of Glickenhaus, here is pic of their new scg004. I see Ford again.(sail panels)
Matt Bacon Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 ...there are sail panels on the 599GTO... There are only so many ways to design a car that has to solve the same problems. Rear engine with turbos to feed and brake cooling plus generating downforce... You'd have to be Adrian Newey to completely tear up the CFD playbook... best, M.

Richard Bartrop Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 (edited) If the trend is to classic, well proportioned design, even if it might not be breathtakingly original, it's a trend I welcome with open arms. Edited March 27, 2019 by Richard Bartrop
