Claude Thibodeau Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Hi! The so-called "fuselage" styling gave birth to one of the most striking version of Plymouth sporty intermediate: the GTX. This one has tubs and monster meats, molded bumpers, shaved body, opened grille, side-exhausts and removed back-seat to clear the tubs, between which is nestled a NOS bottle. Finish is Testor's HotPink & Wetlook clear. CT
espo Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Nailed it. Great looking color and paint finish. Interior looks good. The chassis work is the biggest part of this build, maybe display it over mirrors. This body style looks so much better when you see what you and many other builders have done with it.
echo Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Attractive car and it has something different for power than the overused Hemi.
slusher Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Beautiful Mopar Beast!!! What color is the interior? I like it..
Claude Thibodeau Posted June 17, 2019 Author Posted June 17, 2019 Hi! Thanks for the comments. To Carl's question: the interior is a Tamya acrylic custom mix, some sort of IVORY that I mixed until it looked good with the exterior color. On closed car, I try to stay on the light side, otherwise, you loose all the detail work cause it's too dark... CT
Dragonhawk1066 Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Outstanding!! Very sharp build and great color.
zakdoggi Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Nice clean build with a great stance and attitude!!

The front section is the stok GTX, with extremely dropped spindles (for the rake), the rear tubs are slightly modified Matt Hay's Revell TBird rear tubs and tail panel. CT
