It is with sad news.....

Some of you here may be familiar with a member that goes by the name of Mistertwister. He primarily built drag models. His name is Darryl Raper. He and I were good friends for years. Two weeks ago I received a call from him after not hearing from him in a few months. He was diagnosed with a rapid form of neck cancer that went undetected for a long time. It was so far along that I didn't even recognize his voice when he called. 

Well, unfortunately I received a call earlier today from his mother to inform me that Darryl lost that battle on Friday. Darryl was a great model builder and an even better person. He will be sorely missed that I am sure of.
