3men2s Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 My latest completion. A Revell SCCA MUSTANG. I think it raced back in 91 or so in the Trans Am Series. I added some extra details not included in the kit. Also corrected the front clip, attaching the front spoiler to the chasie and covering the scribe lines from the hood lines. the race car does not have that. the seat belts and net and toe loops are scratch built, the kits decals were ruined so I got a new set from indycals.
Dave Van Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 NICE WORK!!!!! I just finished a MONOGRAM GTX IMSA Mustang with Indycals......the JPS looks GOOD!
vamach1 Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Very nice. Those decals look much better than the very yellow kit ones. I've built the Foldger's one and I remember it fit together pretty well.
Rich Chernosky Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Very nice, I remember doing this kit many years ago and had to replace the decals too.
TonyK Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Very nice! Built this car years ago and as I recall it went together well. I used the original decals but can understand them being a bit old by now.
Peter Lombardo Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Really nice, I just love the old John Player Special paint schemes. I have a number of the Lotus F1 cars in that livery and would love to get my hands on the Mustang one of these days and maybe I could build it as nice as yours. Looks great
Silver Foxx Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Great looking build, nice decal work , well done .
