I started this little project a few years back, I had a 68 Pontiac Monogram kit lying around and wanted to try something outside the box (so to speak)  It is far from great build but was fun watching it come together.  I first filled the hood and sanded the scoops away then  made some trim for around a vinyl top.  Used two grills and drilled out quad head lights.  The interior, made a bench seat from a second bottom rear 68 seat and cut up a set of bucket seats, console removed as well as the 4 speed. Motor is mostly stock.  used stock wheels mated with Peguses  aftermarket chrome wheel rings.  Only thing I need is a rear view mirror for the drivers side.   Finish of the paint was not very important on this one.  Was a fun build for the summer time, enjoy the pic's.

Except for the wheels and tires it is almost a perfect match to one my cousin owned back in the late 70's.  Very nice job on the build.

Well done! I love seeing the lower trim level cars reproduced in scale. The only nit I see (and you may have intended this as part of the custom approach), is the omission of the wing (vent) windows. They were dropped for the '69 and later model years, but the '68's still had them. Again, great build!
