ewetwo Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 (edited) I thought I was bidding on an untouched new model. Instead I got a body sprayed painted this awful green color. And then they must have tried to sand the paint off. I stripped it. The Impala scripts were almost non existent. Not the best but it's done. Edited November 26, 2019 by ewetwo
fivesuns Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 I like your color selection. I been meaning to get one of these.
ewetwo Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 Thanks guys. The paint was Dupli-color Perfect Match Champagne Pearl Keith. It's was a Chrysler color.
Modlbldr Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 That looks very nice. Too bad you didn't get what you expected but the non existent scripts makes it look like a day two custom. Beautiful paint choice too. Later-
Snake45 Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Looks good, especially considering you started with someone else's FUBAR. I see your skill improving with every build. Well done and drive on!
Tom Geiger Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 Looks very cool! I have so much stuff in my queue right now I cannot commit to building a '65 or '66 Chevy anytime soon, but I'd like to! In fact when moving some stuff around looking for my 1/32 Lindberg kits, I came across a MCW '65 Chevy 2 door sedan resin body that I swear I never saw before! Nice job Dave!
