Odd curiosity..

One of my suppliers I work with sent me a calendar in the mail in a clear plastic sleeve, with one little packing peanut. At first I thought it was static that pulled it into pack, until I flipped it over..

It might have something to do with thickness. Not long ago I tried to mail some parts to someone here in a regular envelope. It made weight, but it wouldn't quite fit through a slot in a template, so I had to pay the package rate for it. Had never heard of that before that.

Any warnings about it causing cancer for Californians?

Nope, I looked all over and that one little warning is all I saw.

I never cease to be amazed by weird rules.

Maybe it's one of those that is biodegradable and will dissolve in water.

No, those usually look like cheese puffs without the cheese powder......................actually, I think they are just cheese puff without the cheese powder, they look about the same.

It is so it can be shipped USPS First Class Parcel. If it is too thin, it will go First Class Letter at a higher rate. Found this out quite a while ago selling stuff on eBay. I put a few peanuts in a lot of things that would cost more shipping as a letter.

AHA! I THOUGHT it might have something to do with that 1/4" slot template! B)
