shoopdog Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Finally finished this one last weekend after starting it in Oct. of 18. I used the body of the old AMT kit and everything else came from the AMT 71 Charger kit except the decals which are from the new released Road Runner. I wish I had just got Keith Marks decals, several split and the left sail panel stripe tore in three places. Paint is Model Masters Metallic Bronze with a Tamiya clear coat. I think it came out ok but I don't care for the front end sitting as high as it is. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.
Snake45 Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Nice, clean work and that's a great color. Well done and model on!
Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 I had the same problem with the decals on mine.
mrmike Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Looks great! I've built two over the years and they both have Keith Marks decals on them.
espo Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Great looking build. I like how you detail painted the engine compartment and the chassis. Very nice paint finish and the color looks just right on this.
Cardz Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Wow, the 71 sure added some nice details to it, well done!
BeakDoc Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Looks awesome. Those decals had me pulling my hair out too.
