Old Wildcat Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I go by Old Wildcat . I haven't built a model kit since I was around 12 years old. Well turn 66 in a few weeks. I'm going to just try to enjoy building but it might be hard due to unsteady hands shaking. I have some real bad health issues and was given the old 6 mo. To a year talk. So this is on my bucket list. 3 cars I want to try, 55 chevy,66 chevy ll and the 70 ss chevelle. I have one question can one use acrylic craft paint for say engines and undercarriage stuff if cleared afterward? Thank you.
Bills72sj Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Welcome Robert. There are a lot of newer acrylics that should do what you want. Of the 3 be easy on yourself and don't make a 55 with opening doors your first build. Start off easy.
misterNNL Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Trust us Robert, the answers to all of modeling questions are just a few key strokes away right here on the forums.

David G. Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Welcome aboard! I fled the Youngstown area in the eighties. Build some models and have some fun but don't forget to post those photos. David G.
