The first time I wore my mask into my local post office, I said, "I'm old enough to remember when walking into a US Post Office wearing a mask would get you shot on the spot."

Since News Papers have turned into what they have become I sure miss Delbert. Who every wrote for this Comic Strip had to have worked in a large office somewhere. You couldn't just make up this stuff he wrote about. I used to read this and I could name several coworkers that could have been anyone of these caricatures.

Many years ago I realized he was the only thing worth reading every day in the newspaper I had subscribed to for decades. I cancelled the subscription and now check him out online every day. B)

Yes, Dilbert is a great comic strip, and since I work for a large computer company, the humor hits very close (sometimes too close) to home work! :)

Speaking of good comics, I really miss the Far Side - another oldie but goodie.

Far Side and Calvin & Hobbs are sorely missed.

Having worked in software development at many small and large companies over the last 20+ years, Dilbert feels very real at times to me.. (likewise the movie Office Space felt very real to me).    I really miss the Far Side also...and Calvin & Hobbes.

Yes, that was another great one.  I also liked For Better and For Worse.  And Bizzaro is also one of the good ones.

Funny.

I started to post several of those, but figgered I'd trigger someone's delicate sensibilities and get suspended again for politics or religion or racism or language.

Guess you have to know somebody.   B)

Scott, those were THE BEST memes of the whole thread! I HOPE no one gets offended--they're all hilarious!

Well done old friend! B)

I'm afraid I don't know anybody. It's just that nobody has complained yet. I'm hoping it stays that way. Because I too obviously think it's funny. And my intention in posting it is not offend anybody. But, it won't be the first time I've made that mistake.

I have a few I would LOVE to post, but too many here are far too sensitive. I see making a Jehovah joke doesn't draw any complaints though. Interesting. Maybe I should post the Christian ones I have, and watch the "reported thread" button go on meltdown.
