Landwind x7 and Land Rover Evoque. Pretty sure bottom is LR

More R2/RM than Palmer. Better than some Japanese kits of US cars. :)

JLR wins a rare challenge against Chinese copycat Landwind

That's just a direct rip-off!

They should've called it the "Makewind 2000"

Say it ain’t so ! Cobra’s from a Miata ?

It ain't so. Painting it blue with white stripes and calling it a Cobra doesn't mean it is one even with the nerf bars and the dinky bumpers!

Just plain misguided!

The poor little Miata has had to suffer from several other misshapen blobs of "interpretations" or "re-creations" being mercilessly stretched over it.

I know it's a good car with many fans but the Miata in itself is a mild example of Palmerism:

Funny though. Lotus were Palmer kits that fell apart. Miata were Elans by Tamiya.

Said as someone that loves Elans and 26R.

Funny aside, how'd you like to be a 1:1 Lotus dealer at the moment? ?☢️

And Bill, thanks for making me need eyewash with my coffee.

Sorry to be dull - what's up with being a Lotus dealer now in particular?

The Siata 208s is a genuine original beauty. Hard to beleive the Siata Spring is from the same company.

And the MG TF - ah yes, there is this beauty too (not as far off as your example, in fairness). The Gentry:

Wow, look at all those station wagons!

Don't insult me that way.  These are CRV's/SUV's.  Mom and Dad drove a station wagon and I certainly would not, I am much too cool to be seen driving a station wagon.  ?  Call them what you want, they are still very much a station wagon.

I drive a wagon. I love wagons. Dyno'd mine at 636/690. Those aren't station wagons. They're SAV's. Not for off road. I hate CUV's, SAVs', and SUV's. Pick one, car or truck. Not both.

Here's a nice vid. Not your parents wagon.
