Kararic Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Greetings, Here is my attempt of the Revell '32 5-Window Coupe kit. The kit is very nice. However there were times where I wanted to pull my hair out even though I'm bald. I don't blame the kit I blame my OCD and not knowing much about these types of vehicles. I started of by cutting the roof panel out. I cut and bent the frame in the back so that it matches the contour of the body. I slightly narrowed the wheel width on front and wheels. I made my own and added spark plug wires. The color I went with is Splash Paints golden yellow. I'm sure the car is far from representing the original but this is my version of it and I would be proud having it in my garage. Thank you for looking and please feel free to give me constructive criticism.

NOBLNG Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Very nice! I like the way the hub caps, trim rings and valve covers are done with matching paint. What paint did you use on the seat?

espo Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Beautiful looking paint work, you can even see the reflection from your counter in the paint. I'm a big fan of the pin striping as it reminds me of a much better time in the world. Very cleanly assembled and the interior is nicely done also.

I love the striping on these cars and I would have to agree with you about better times.
Tom Geiger Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Very cool! I’ve built one if the Revell Model As but haven’t done any of their 32s. I need to try one!
Koellefornia Kid Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Really cool! The pin stripes look great on that gold!
Cpt Tuttle Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 I see nothing wrong with it, on a hot rod your own imagination is what sets the limits, looks completely fine to me.
