VW. Mini Suburban

Next project is to use this resin body mounted on the Tamiya VW chassis . Body is said to be a direct fit .

Made a bit of progress . Not going to be able to see the engine . I’m making a cover  from the rear seat to the rear of the body . May have do do some kind of exhaust out there rear . Oh , it’s going to be orange !

Those  back corner ones have me a bit concerned.

Should be ok with thin enough plastic. I have sheet plastic that bends well and thought about filling them but prefer the windows.

On the window issue, I have had good luck using thin clear plastic from packaging used for different products you might buy most anywhere. My favorite is the plastic used behind the top button and under the collar on men's dress shirts. This is used to make it hold it's shape. They will bend easily without creating a bend mark in the plastic.

I was thinking your resin was a "phantom" body style, seeing as I haven't seen a variant like that in all of my years .

It is a phantom, not stock but someone may have built one in 1:1. 
 

there was this VW Fridolin that was made primarily for the post office. I remember seeing these when I lived in Germany. I’d love to have a resin of this one!
