Both are Revell, and painted the same Mythical Maroon/ Metallic Silver. The '56 Del Ray is based on some pictures of a real '56 del ray that I found while doing a image search. The '57 was just a idea I had to do a matching pair. Body paint wise...

When are you starting on the 55?

First I would have to see if the amt '55 sedan body would work with the revell '55 chevy kit as I would want to have all three cars  to be sedan's....

Why? The AMT kit interior, chassis, engine, etc. are quite serviceable. Just build what comes in the box. B)

Well done and model on! B)

They look great together. Nice color combination. I'm a big Tri-Five fan and these are great kits. Should you want to build a "55 to go with these Revell has offered a '55 Hardtop that might work unless it has to be a post car.

Some years ago I had the amt 55 chevy sedan. The body as I recall was very nice but the chassis and Interior were a PITA as they didn't fit each other very well, I had the same issue with the 55 Nomad kit. it's either the chassis or the interior that isn't right as the Transmission tunnel either is to big on the chassis or to small in the interior to fit over the chassis correctly, The Revell copy would supply a better detailed interior/engine and chassis.

That sounds like an easily fixed problem with some filing on either or both pieces, or possibly some simple fabrication. Doesn't sound worth sacrificing another whole kit for, but hey, that's just me. B)
